Everyone has been busy in 2009, trying to improve the grounds. The Saddle Club site looks like a whole new place this year, And we're proud of it!
Our thanks to all members who participated in the April 25th work day. Bleachers were painted, the Pavilion received a face lift, as well as all buildings. Fencing has been straightened and painted. Also a new loading area for calves has been installed.
Our thanks to the following members, who have went Above and Beyond to make things nice for us:
Joe Shroeder: Maintaining the arena, grading the road, repairing the washouts, and bringing in loads of rock for the creekbed. Bill and Karrie Campbell: Driving 74 miles (one way) to bring in their landscaping mowers, and providing us with a park like setting. Dave Obert and John Corey: For spending weeks at the club grounds, fixing electrical boxes, repairing fences, and water pumps. Also for hauling water to all events.
For those of you who came on work days, or any other event. Our thanks to you as well. We couldn't have the club we have without everyone working together. We Appreciate You!
Each of these folks have separate lives and families. But they've taken the time to try to improve our club and make it a better place for everyone. Make a point to tell them thank you!
